If I could choose only one word to sum up the wedding of George and Karina, it would be “elegant”. The couple’s sophisticated style was showcased perfectly not only in Karina’s choice of dresses for herself and her bridesmaids, but also through the efforts of Costas Petrides from Marilyns Events, who was responsible for their wedding at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London.

The traditional Greek-Cypriot ceremony took place at the All Saints Greek Church in Camden. Karina couldn’t stop smiling as she walked down the aisle to where George eagerly awaited his bride-to-be. See more…

It was crystal clear when we met this couple to plan their wedding at Hatfield House, that they were bound for life, and that they each felt incredibly fortunate to have found the other. No filter or post-editing magic could recreate that look of absolute love!  See more…

As Ηarriet and Liam wanted their wedding preparations included in their both Pendley Manor wedding photography and Pendley Manor wedding videography, we started the day with a team at each of their preparations in beautiful Tring, Hertfordshire.

The Grade II listed Victorian Pendley Manor house was a private home until the 1980s, and it retains a homely appeal which is strengthened by the welcoming staff who are highly skilled at running weddings. There is a variety of beautiful rooms of varying sizes that can accommodate up to 200 guests, including a beautiful Ceremony Room which is filled with natural light thanks to enormous windows that overlook the gardens.

The couple opted to host the entire event at the luxurious venue, which had the benefit of keeping their schedule flowing smoothly and minimising any wedding-day nerves. It was a long day for our team of Hannah, Lia and Pav, who were our Pendley Manor photography and video team for this wonderful wedding. They successfully captured the action from the bride’s and groom’s preparation until the guests were kicking off their shoes on the dancefloor. However, a Pendley Manor wedding is always a beautiful affair and with Harriet, Liam and their families being such a delight to capture, the day flew by. See more…

With their Turkish Cypriot heritage, we knew that Dilan and Erda’s wedding would be a lively occasion. It did not disappoint! We were thrilled when this friendly couple asked us to provide our services, which started at the bride’s final dress fitting at The Boutique in Enfield. We are so grateful to the owners, Andrea and Christine, for letting us take these shots in their stunning bridal boutique. They were so accommodating, and it meant that we were able to get exactly the shots that Dilan wanted, including some beautiful messages of love for Dilan and her husband to be by their mothers.

With both the bride and groom being classically trained musicians, it was no surprise that Selina and Joshua’s luxury wedding at the Langham Hotel London featured beautiful music. The joyous occasion of Melissa and Daniel’s wedding took place at the Greek Church of All Saints in Camden. It is a church that our team knows well, being fortunate to have provided wedding photography and videography for many Greek couples in London. I am always humbled by how welcoming the clergy are, and how much care they invest into every wedding service, supporting the couple and their families as they take this significant first significant step into a united future. It was a rainy day, but there was no dampening the excitement for Maria and Michael’s wedding in Bristol. The day was a fantastic representation not only of their love for each other but also the love and support shown by their family and friends as they took this momentous step. With Maria having Cypriot heritage, our day started at her house where we filmed the traditional stolisma, before racing over to the Greek Orthodox Church of St Peter and Paul to capture the wedding ceremony. There was much to delight my photographic eye when Katerina and David married as they asked me to provide their wedding photography at St Albans Register Office. The couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends in a wedding at the Register Office, and the ceremony was both intimate and beautiful. Katerina was a picture-perfect bride in her retro-style 1950s wedding dress with David, in his stylish blue suit, acting as the perfect foil to her ethereal beauty. See more…

Joanne and Lee wanted their wedding somewhere magical. They couldn’t have made a better choice for the destination wedding in Mykonos than the stunning Saint John Hotel Villas & Spa near the island’s capital of Chora. Mykonos holds a special place in my heart as I have family on the island and know it well. I was delighted when the British couple asked me to capture not only their Mykonos wedding photography but also their second wedding reception in Oxfordshire, held to celebrate with family and friends who could not travel to their first ceremony. The wedding for Rowena and Jason at Fairlop Waters Country Park required one of our largest teams, involving four shooters and a professional assistant. We would love to say that their day dawned sunny and fine, but you can see from the video that it was overcast, with heavy clouds threatening to dampen the couple’s happy day. Still, we always find the bright side, and we love the way the fiery orange flowers stand out against the dramatic sky! See more…

We were so excited to plan the day for Palna and Sushil’s Indian wedding at Stoneleigh Abbey. You may not expect that a stately home in the English countryside would make an ideal backdrop for Indian wedding photography, but these images of our beautiful couple show how perfect it is.

Rather than have a religious ceremony at one venue followed by their wedding reception somewhere else, Sushil and Palna chose to get married in a civil ceremony at Stoneleigh Abbey and to stay there for their images and celebrations which meant that we only needed one team of professionals to cover the proceedings. If we had to choose only one word to summarise Nadine & Filipe’s big day, it would be “joyful”. This couple was an absolute delight from our first meeting, and we enjoyed providing them our services. As well as their British-Portuguese heritage, the couple shares the same fun-loving, easy-going temperament which was evident in their celebration.

Nadine opted to get ready in the luxurious surroundings of Claridge’s in London. Our experience is that more brides are choosing to use a hotel suite for their preparations – typically the one in which they are spending their wedding night – because it adds comfort to their special day as well as to our images. We are happy to work in whatever environment the bride or groom chooses. However, a hotel gives us more of a “blank canvas” backdrop to work with, and it also means the bride (or her family) do not have to worry about anything. See more…

Munuse and Mustafa’s Turkish wedding photography at Meridian Grand was a little different from our regular service in that there was not a ceremony to capture. The couple had already tied the knot, so this was all about the celebration and giving the couple beautiful images.

When it comes to Filipino wedding and weather, it is a bit like being Goldilocks. Our heart sings when we wake up on a working weekend to find that it is sunny but not too hot, that there is a little light cloud but not so much that the day is overcast, and that there is a slight breeze but definitely not too much wind. In short, we like it “just right”, and thankfully that is how Melanie and Alvin’s Radisson Blu Heathrow wedding day dawned.   See more…

We had already worked with Funda and Serhan on their themed engagement photoshoot, and so we were delighted to have been asked to cover their wedding at Grand Connaught Rooms as well. It was a massive event, and the couple wanted us to cover their preparations as well as their ceremony and reception, so the team knew we had a lot to do over the next twelve hours.

Funda and Serhan incorporated many beautiful traditions from their Turkish culture into their special day. The bride and groom started the day in their respective parents’ homes, both of which were in North London, so the team split up to ensure not a moment of the action was missed!

A riot of colour, music and dancing – that was just the preparation for Chandni and Pinal’s Hindu wedding at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn, London! Having shot their pre-wedding session at Lake Vyrnwy in Wales, it was a treat to see this couple tie the knot in London a few weeks later.

In her beautiful blush and gold brocade lehenga choli, Chandni was a stunning bride. Red is an auspicious colour in the Hindu culture, and Chandni incorporated it by wearing thick stacks of red and gold wedding bangles on each wrist. Traditionally, Hindu brides follow 16 steps of beautification to prepare themselves for their wedding and Chandni incorporated many of them into her outfit. Not only did she wear bangles, but she also included the maang tikka forehead decoration and intricately applied mehndi decorations on her hands and feet.

On the Cycladic islands of Paros in the heart of the Aegean, the love of two people, for the sea, for life, was consummated with a truly original wedding. I was there to portray their precious moments and tell their inimitable story.

It was not a surprise that a day before we seemed to have ‘lost’ the groom who had gone for a ‘catch up’ with the Aegean Sea before the big day. D. and C.’s love affair with the Greek Islands had begun several years earlier when they went for a holiday and got hooked with kitesurfing.

Island Residence in Varkiza, Athens –  (updated) – Travelling just a few kilometres outside of Athens one can encounter this immensely beautiful location; Island Residence in Varkiza. An idyllic setting where the sun never fails to shine. Pavlina and Nikos chose to have a dual celebration of their son’s christening and their wedding on the same day. Any bride and groom can tell you that one of the most challenging aspects of planning a wedding is making both families happy. As much as it is “their” day, a marriage also represents the joining together of two families, and it is important to incorporate appropriate customs to respect both the bride’s and the groom’s backgrounds, as Natalie and James did when they wed in Kingston-Upon-Thames.

Natalie’s family is British-Greek Cypriot and James’ is British, and their special day was very much a fusion of each heritage. The service took place at St George Greek church in Kingston-Upon-Thames. The early summer weather was the sort to make my heart sing, with just a few fluffy white clouds punctuating the azure blue skies.

Natalie was a natural in front of the camera and she and her three bridesmaids made the most of their time together as they got ready for the ceremony. See more…

We started with the bridal preparation at bride’s parents house in Cockfosters, North London. The bride was was surrounded by a loving and warm family!

The wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Langham Hotel London which was decorated with white. It was elegant and made for some great shots! Coming together the Indian and Greek cultures was just fabulous and groom made his grand entrance behind some Indian drummers! There was a beautiful ceremony followed by some latin guitar music.

Where the main reception was held, was the most fabulous place to capture. So many beautiful details and it was so well thought out, not to mention that decadent cake! We made sure to get some shots before everyone entered. After the ceremony all guests were invited outside to the Langham’s Middleton Rose Garden for drinks and canapés. See more…

Sometimes being a wedding supplier is about creating a fantasy world to help inspire people planning a destination wedding, like this Chateau de Challain wedding project organised by the famous planner Seyi Olusanya from Once Upon a Destination. Working first at the magnificent Chateau before moving on to shoot at the renowned Four Seasons Hotel Georges V in Paris was a great job, and one I enjoyed immensely.

Standing proudly in the Loire Valley, the Chateau de Challain justice is a triumph of proportions and beauty. It was a joy to work my way around the gardens, finding the perfect angle for capturing its symmetry and showcasing the models and their dresses to their best advantage. See more…

It was such a wonderful experience for myself to be able to capture, and moreover be present at Caroline’s Chelsea wedding, as she married her husband Gareth.

I loved capturing the moments of her first walking down the street towards me, arriving with Gareth and their two witnesses at the offices. All smiles of course! Then the special moments from the process of the booking, through to the ceremony itself. It was lovely to capture the expressions of their witnesses too. Plus of course the ceremony end. Choosing the smaller registry room for their service, the wedding ceremony was animated and light hearted, which was well suited to both Caroline and Gareth and their relationship with each other, as well as their strong friendships with their fun loving friends Sarah and Barry.

As Caroline had chosen to do things the other way around and get legally married, after their symbolic wedding, this was a bit of fun for them and you could tell that they thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of wedding at Chelsea Town Hall. See more…

Let me first paint a backdrop of calm sea, bright blue sky and glorious rays of sunshine. This is the beautiful setting of Halkidiki, Greece that was the unobtrusive witness to a weekend celebration. A true Mediterranean marriage of Spanish and Greek family tradition and culture, allow me to introduce Korina and Juan!

Now joined together in marital harmony, Korina, originally from Greece and Juan from Spain, celebrated their beautiful wedding in Kassandra, Halkidiki. Living in central London but with their hearts belonging not just to each other but also to the culture and laid back lifestyle of the Mediterranean cost, it was only natural that they head to Korina’s beloved home-country to say and celebrate their much awaited ‘I do’s’. Every wedding shares the same intent, but because the couples and their stories are unique, no wedding is the same. As a professional photographer, I love the role of creating photos that don’t only record events but which also convey emotions and atmosphere. I was, therefore, very excited when I captured Jiota and Konstantinos’ wedding in Mannheim, Germany. It is a joy that, even after so many years shooting weddings, my job never feels stale. I have photographed weddings some of the most vibrant cities, travelled to tiny fishing villages in Greece, and set up my tripod in opulent hotels around the world, but Manneheim was somewhere new for me. I love the sense of drama that the holiday season adds to a wedding. These special days are beautiful in their own right, but when you add the colours and sparkle of Christmas together with a magnificent setting it makes it a great pleasure. Gina had her heart set on marrying in St Albans Cathedral and Abbey and was happy to wait for a date to become available. This cathedral holds particular significance for christians as it is where Britain’s first saint, Alban, is buried. Despite its size, the abbey is a warm and welcoming space, holding not only Church of England services, but also Catholic, Russian Orthodox and Lutheran ones. Gina and Graham could not have made a better choice for their big day. See more…

The wedding of Florentia & Dimitris was extremely modern in that it spanned several countries. The Greek couple lives in the UAE but wanted their wedding in Paros which is one of the most beautiful Cyclades Islands. Their plan was absolute music to my ears because, although I live in the UK, Greece is my homeland and somewhere I love to be. This article is a description of a working day, it will explain the thought processes and preparation required and that goes into making your special day as perfect as you deserve.

As children, we all imagined ourselves as doctors, famous singers, rock stars, celebs, country leaders, lawyers, teachers, and so on. We would built scenarios about how great we would be at what we do and how we changed the world.

Of all the jobs on Earth, I have never heard anyone dreaming of becoming a wedding professional photographer! I believe it is a slightly underestimated job but I can assure you it is one of the most fascinating ones, if I have a saying on this! Yes, it is a lot of difficult job, but it is really worth every bit of it. See more…

On a lovely summer day we were fortunate enough to capture this lovely wedding, held at the Chelsea Town Hall in London. It was an emotional afternoon full of happiness for all. Alexandra was an absolute vision; in a 1950’s style lace belted dress, with a glistening hairpin and striking red suede ankle strapped stiletto shoes. Whilst Tom looked ultra dapper in a full 3 piece navy blue suit. It was wonderful catching the moments of Tom, knowing that Alexandra was slipped behind the corner, where he could not see. It was a wonderful service held at the Chelsea Registry Office (in non-coincidentally the ‘Brydon Room’), with about 20 family guests. The pale yellow room, with large ornate gold mirrors and crystal chandeliers made a wonderful backdrop for the wedding ceremony. The celebrant was light hearted and made the service well suited to Alexandra and Tom’s carefree and vibrant personalities. We loved catching the emotion in the room, including some beautiful tears from Tom’s father, on exchanging of the rings.

Alexandra and Tom were an absolutely stunning couple. Here is some of our favourites shots from their wedding. We wish them all the very best for their many years of marriage to come. See more…
