If I could choose only one word to sum up the wedding of George and Karina, it would be “elegant”. The couple’s sophisticated style was showcased perfectly not only in Karina’s choice of dresses for herself and her bridesmaids, but also through the efforts of Costas Petrides from Marilyns Events, who was responsible for their wedding at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London.
The traditional Greek-Cypriot ceremony took place at the All Saints Greek Church in Camden. Karina couldn’t stop smiling as she walked down the aisle to where George eagerly awaited his bride-to-be. In turn, he barely took his eyes off her from the minute she entered the church – something that was very apparent as we edited their video footage. After the service, we had time with the couple to capture their first private moments as newlyweds. George, Karina and their guests celebrated long into the night with all the enthusiasm that you would expect from a Cypriot party to a soundtrack provided by the excellent Cleopatra band.
My team and I spent the entire day and a good part of the evening to record this joyous occasion, capturing moments big and small to provide the couple with a complete record of their wedding. No matter how many weddings we do, it always feels like a privilege to be included in what is one of the most significant days a couple will share.
