As Ηarriet and Liam wanted their wedding preparations included in their both Pendley Manor wedding photography and Pendley Manor wedding videography, we started the day with a team at each of their preparations in beautiful Tring, Hertfordshire.
The Grade II listed Victorian Pendley Manor house was a private home until the 1980s, and it retains a homely appeal which is strengthened by the welcoming staff who are highly skilled at running weddings. We had already worked with Funda and Serhan on their themed engagement photoshoot, and so we were delighted to have been asked to cover their wedding at Grand Connaught Rooms as well. It was a massive event, and the couple wanted us to cover their preparations as well as their ceremony and reception, so the team knew we had a lot to do over the next twelve hours.
Funda and Serhan incorporated many beautiful traditions from their Turkish culture into their special day. The bride and groom started the day in their respective parents’ homes, both of which were in North London, so the team split up to ensure not a moment of the action was missed!

If I could choose only one word to sum up the wedding of George and Karina, it would be “elegant”. The couple’s sophisticated style was showcased perfectly not only in Karina’s choice of dresses for herself and her bridesmaids, but also through the efforts of Costas Petrides from Marilyns Events, who was responsible for their wedding at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London.

If we had to choose only one word to summarise Nadine & Filipe’s big day, it would be “joyful”. This couple was an absolute delight from our first meeting, and we enjoyed providing them our services. As well as their British-Portuguese heritage, the couple shares the same fun-loving, easy-going temperament which was evident in their celebration.
Nadine opted to get ready in the luxurious surroundings of Claridge’s in London. Our experience is that more brides are choosing to use a hotel suite for their preparations – typically the one in which they are spending their wedding night – because it adds comfort to their special day as well as to our images. We are happy to work in whatever environment the bride or groom chooses. However, a hotel gives us more of a “blank canvas” backdrop to work with, and it also means the bride (or her family) do not have to worry about anything. See more…

The wedding for Rowena and Jason at Fairlop Waters Country Park required one of our largest teams, involving four shooters and a professional assistant. We would love to say that their day dawned sunny and fine, but you can see from the video that it was overcast, with heavy clouds threatening to dampen the couple’s happy day. Working with babies can be unpredictable. As we are experienced producers of events, we can scout locations, get to know the parents and make contingency plans for different light and weather conditions but, as gorgeous as they are, babies will pull whatever faces they want, and we never know what mood we will be greeted with on the day!
Hers is Alex and Andriana’s image gallery and wedding videography at Sopwell House. The couple chose the beautiful and rural Twelve Apostles Church for their traditional Cypriot ceremony before celebrating with their guests a few miles away at the luxurious Sopwell House. The entire event went like clockwork, giving us the sort of day we dream of.
The 12 Apostles Church is a favourite with Cypriot brides and grooms who want a classic English country wedding. The former Anglican church sits peacefully in its parkland setting, looking as if part of the set for a film like Four Weddings and a Funeral. It was a rainy day, but there was no dampening the excitement for Maria and Michael’s wedding in Bristol. The day was a fantastic representation not only of their love for each other but also the love and support shown by their family and friends as they took this momentous step. Dimitri and Bobbie chose to celebrate their wedding at Orsett Hall when they tied the knot. Both from Cypriot Greek families, the couple incorporated many recognisable traditions into their big day which started with the Stolisma at their respective family homes. As the bride and groom to be were getting ready at the same time, we used two teams covering their preparations.

Being a local professional means that SH is a venue with which we are very familiar. The 4-Star country house hotel is a wonderful venue for all kinds of celebrations, with a Sopwell House wedding always being a memorable occasion. It is a highly picturesque venue with 12 acres of grounds outside and many decorative features within. While guests were tucking into their welcome drinks and canapes captured by our second team, our main team made the most of the romantic gardens for the post-ceremony portraits with just the bride and groom, as well as some group shots with their wedding party. I love the sense of drama that the holiday season adds to a wedding. These special days are beautiful in their own right, but when you add the colours and sparkle of Christmas together with a magnificent setting it makes it a great pleasure. Gina had her heart set on marrying in St Albans Cathedral and Abbey and was happy to wait for a date to become available. This cathedral holds particular significance for christians as it is where Britain’s first saint, Alban, is buried. Despite its size, the abbey is a warm and welcoming space, holding not only Church of England services, but also Catholic, Russian Orthodox and Lutheran ones. You may think that weddings are virtually the same as christening images and videos. While it is true that the events are similar in many ways – the setting, the families, the familiar ceremony, christenings have a different feel altogether as the parents are typically more relaxed than a bride and groom, and that makes a world of difference to a professional.
It is a pleasure to work in the National Motorcycle Museum as we did for Eleni and Bradley who had their beautiful wedding in Birmingham. The theme for the wedding was classically romantic, with a pure white colour scheme given sparkle with a liberal application of crystals and diamonds. We had a wonderful day filming Fatma and Omer’s wedding at Hylands House. The couple had chosen to spend their entire day in this gorgeous wedding venue in Chelmsford, and we were on hand to film them as they spent their last single hours, exchanged vows, and celebrated their newlywed status with their family and friends.
A Hylands House wedding has all the elements required to make a film maker or photographer extremely happy. The light, the proportions of the rooms and the beautiful decor with its intricate detail all come together into a cameraman’s perfect venue. Fatma was the most beautiful woman in Chelmsford when she glided down the elegant staircase to where her father was waiting to escort her to the ceremony, which the couple had chosen to hold in the elaborately decorated Banqueting Room. The luxurious red and gold decor were perfect for a Turkish wedding, while the enormous windows filled the room with flattering natural light.
The dawn of Sevda and Ahmet’s special day heralded one of the hottest days of the year, making it a relief to be working in the beautiful countryside surroundings for their wedding at Forty Hall Estate. The rustic barn was transformed into a beautiful and intimate wedding space where the couple’s family and closest friends were witness to their exchange of vows and grateful, no doubt, for the thoughtful provision of heart-shaped fans that looked great in the film.

Our day at Kieran’s baptism was a fun and lively. The cute and engaging toddler received the holy sacrament at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, also known as Farm Street Church, in Mayfair in the heart of London. It is not a church I knew well before Kieran’s baptism, but I am pleased to now be more familiar with it as it is a lovely building with beautiful features. It is unusually decorative for a Roman Catholic church in London with its brightly painted ceiling, stained glass windows, ornately carved altar and magnificent Gothic Revival features.

A baby’s christening or baptism is one of the most significant early moments in their life. Baptism filming gives you a documentary record of every precious moment of this momentous day to cherish forever. In christenings not only are you celebrating their place in your family, the religious sacrament commemorates their acceptance into the church.
We were very happy to capture Leonidas’ baptism at St Nectarios church in Battersea London, where Father Christodoulos officiated. Leonidas was an angel throughout the service, happily being held by his Godparents as they committed to their role in his life while his parents watched proudly. Even being undressed and immersed in the font did not upset him – I suspect this little lion loves bath time! See more…
