In Greek-Cypriot weddings, some couples adapt customs to fit their more modern lives while others, like Georgina and Evros, retain many elements of their heritage and celebrate their wedding day in a thoroughly traditional manner. Modern or traditional, every couple is unique, which makes our job varied and enjoyable.

Our day started at Georgina’s home, as her seven bridesmaids helped her get ready for her big day, with the preparation of the bride and groom being almost as important as the wedding ceremony itself. See more…

Room Seasons products have that extra quality and stylisation that every creator loves. Nicolas and Damien founders of the company are two talented professionals who studied together at the internationally acclaimed Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon France. It was a pleasure for me to work with them and in their London based newly formed company. I was able to capture the essence of the business via wonderful closeup meal shots, full of lovely textures and vibrant colours. Room Seasons provides room service food for 3 and 4 star hotels.  See more…

On a lovely summer day we were fortunate enough to capture this lovely wedding, held at the Chelsea Town Hall in London. It was an emotional afternoon full of happiness for all. Alexandra was an absolute vision; in a 1950’s style lace belted dress, with a glistening hairpin and striking red suede ankle strapped stiletto shoes. Whilst Tom looked ultra dapper in a full 3 piece navy blue suit. It was wonderful catching the moments of Tom, knowing that Alexandra was slipped behind the corner, where he could not see. It was a wonderful service held at the Chelsea Registry Office (in non-coincidentally the ‘Brydon Room’), with about 20 family guests. The pale yellow room, with large ornate gold mirrors and crystal chandeliers made a wonderful backdrop for the wedding ceremony. The celebrant was light hearted and made the service well suited to Alexandra and Tom’s carefree and vibrant personalities. We loved catching the emotion in the room, including some beautiful tears from Tom’s father, on exchanging of the rings.

Alexandra and Tom were an absolutely stunning couple. Here is some of our favourites shots from their wedding. We wish them all the very best for their many years of marriage to come. See more…

Wedding photographers are a breed apart. But did you know that there are many sub-species within this group, all with their own distinctive habits? Even wildlife presenter David Attenborough would be fascinated to study these strange, wild creatures out in the field.

This couple were in London’s City and wanted something special to remember being here together. What better idea than to have a session with each other, around some of city’s most exclusive landmarks and streets or tourists attractions and sights. The day was grey and of what many would call miserable, however the colour of the sky added nothing but further depth to the imagery, making that couple stand out dramatically.

Here are some of my favourites shots. See more…

American visitor M was so excited by her visit to London, that she wanted to capture the occasion with a professional photo shoot in London. We choose our locations for a London Love Gallery with great care, making sure our images are an accurate reflection of their London experience and not merely a generic collection of images.

M had fallen in love with the refined, fancy side of the city, so we chose settings like Tower Bridge, Hyde Park and the See more…

While we often capture other type of baptisms, a Ukrainian Christening is less “typical” for us, and it was a real treat to be asked to record the event, especially with a family so warm and lovely as this one. See more…

Christening is one of the most major mysteries in the Orthodox Christian Church and it makes a great opportunity for the child’s family to gather and celebrate together the entrance of the child to the body of the church. For this reason, the value of beautiful, high-quality shots is great as these will be kept as a milestone of the child’s greatest moments for the years to come.

As professionals with many years of experience in events and celebrations, we were delighted to be hired for the shooting of Sean Evangelos Toma’s baptism. The ceremony took place at the Greek cathedral of the Holy Cross See more…

Inspired from traditional pattern and design of Vietnamese ethnic minorities and combined with modern fashion design, the Vietnamese-Swiss fashion designer, Lan Tschirky has released “Ethnic Chic” Collection. The material to make this collection was handmade entirely by artisans from high mountains in Northern Vietnam. The brocade pattern with the contemporary textile creates the luxury look but remains still as clothing that is wearable by consumers. See more…

Inspired by street and culture, Shoreditch’s American bar and restaurant Far Rockaway is considered to be the freshest place in Shoreditch with an ambiance that boasts a perfect combination of urban art and unique creativity. I recently had the opportunity to carry out portrait photos for Poker the official WPT Magazine with the famous poker player, Sam Trickett. Taking photos entails an intricate amount of altering lighting for each shot. Each image that is captured requires its unique adjustment of lighting in order to be able to grasp the wholeness of the picture in real life and transfer it onto the photograph. An essential part of making a editorial and lifestyle photos as authentic as possible is making the subject feel comfortable and at ease. See more…

There is nothing like the atmosphere of a bar mitzvah celebration. Its religious significance is important, while the following reception can be like a great celebration, the concentration of teenagers creates an atmosphere similar to a school prom. It’s sweet, endearing, and always a lot of fun.

Everyone, especially a teenager, can feel awkward when they are the centre of attention. Uri, however, was poised and calm during our service of bar and bat mitzvah photography carrying out his responsibilities with gravitas and maturity that made his parents proud. See more…

It is our role to create professional hotel images that allow potential guests to imagine themselves in the picture, waking up after a sound night’s sleep in the comfortable bed, relaxing in the lounge with their favourite drink, or soaking limbs weary from an exciting day of sightseeing in the bath. Small family run hotels like the Fairway in London have to work hard to compete with larger, well-known chains, so when the owner asked me to take his B & B photos, I was happy to oblige.

One of the main challenges of this kind of work is creating a complete image of the room to allow guests to mentally step inside. Including all of a room’s features without creating any wide angle distortion requires skill and specialist lenses. I relied on my Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L and the EF 11-24mm f/4L full frame lenses to do these charming bedrooms justice, applying my experience to edit the perspective lines to minimise any distortion resulting from the wide-angle lense. The dawn of Sevda and Ahmet’s special day heralded one of the hottest days of the year, making it a relief to be working in the beautiful countryside surroundings for their wedding at Forty Hall Estate. The rustic barn was transformed into a beautiful and intimate wedding space where the couple’s family and closest friends were witness to their exchange of vows and grateful, no doubt, for the thoughtful provision of heart-shaped fans that looked great in the film.

We started with the bridal preparation at bride’s parents house in Cockfosters, North London. The bride was was surrounded by a loving and warm family!

The wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Langham Hotel London which was decorated with white. It was elegant and made for some great shots! Coming together the Indian and Greek cultures was just fabulous and groom made his grand entrance behind some Indian drummers! There was a beautiful ceremony followed by some latin guitar music.

Where the main reception was held, was the most fabulous place to capture. So many beautiful details and it was so well thought out, not to mention that decadent cake! We made sure to get some shots before everyone entered. After the ceremony all guests were invited outside to the Langham’s Middleton Rose Garden for drinks and canapés. See more…
