Baby Victoria was full of smiles for her christening at St Sophia Greek orthodox cathedral in Bayswater. This Greek orthodox church at the heart of the Greek community in West London is a favourite place for its magnificently decorated interiors and beautiful gardens. Everything we need is in one location and, as anyone who works with children knows, keeping it simple and stress-free is the key to beautiful christening pictures.
Before any baptism, we speak with the child’s parents to work out the plan for the day. We make sure to take all the images we need so that this happy day is preserved not only for the child and their parents but also their grandparents, Godparents and other people who are important in their life. Capturing children requires a professional to be flexible and to adapt to any sudden changes in a child’s mood or behaviour. Thankfully, the sun shone and Victoria was relaxed and happy the entire time, making it easy to get lots of lovely shots of this beautiful young family.
After her baptism, Victoria and her doting family celebrated by walking to Aubaine Notting Hill for lunch and plenty of delicious cakes.
